The Resource Centre is designed to offer Ontario Works and Ontario Disability Support Program recipients a centrally located centre, equipped with the latest in communication, technological, and human resources. Conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Oshawa at the Midtown Mall, The Resource Centre provides free photocopier, fax, telephones and internet access. Workshops in computers, personal development, employment tools, and specialized topics are taught daily with no pre-registration required. Experienced staff provide a strong link between instruction and the resources available. Due to their experience as former caseworkers, they can also help with questions regarding legislation or regional policy in general.

Employment Placement, Community Participation, The Self Employment Program, and LEAP (Learning, Earning and Parenting), are all located in the same building to provide one stop shopping for all clients. Caseplanners are located at each local office throughout Durham Region.
